Man they are trailering the shit out of this game lately. Definitely looks janky but in a kind of endearing way. I'm interested mainly for the concept - detailed RPG in a historical setting.
first person only.
based on the recent reddit AMA .Looks damn good.
Do we know how long it takes to beat the game?
You can go through most of the game without fighting if you so choose! 2) avg playthrough - 50 hours. thorough playthrough - 100+
I don't really mind houses, kings and duchys so on but I love medieval historyThis makes the story seem somewhat interesting even though I can't be bothered to remember a bunch of house and royalty names from that kind of time. I'm...intrigued on how some of those bigger battles play out given that the combat seems to completely fall apart when you battle more than 1 person at a time.
I mean, it does take place on 16km2 patch of bohemian countryside, and is actually modeled according to reality, so if you are expecting deserts and snowy mountaintops, that will definitely be a vain hope. It will have the most beautiful and detailed forests to date though.Hopefully the environment won't be too samey, it doesn't look to be all that varied so far.
That plan was scrapped, now it is a full game with an ending. If i recall correct it was originally planned as a multi-episode release, is it still the case or is now a full game?
The combat against multiple opponents was the first thing to concern me way back when the kickstarter first started. I figured it will get better before the game comes out but so far it seems pretty much the same with back then. Still backed the game anyway so guess we'll see. This makes the story seem somewhat interesting even though I can't be bothered to remember a bunch of house and royalty names from that kind of time.
