the PS4 version was £12 on shopto the other day tooI'm kinda sick of waiting for Rabi Ribi from LRG and I just noticed brand new EU copies going for 30$CAD shipping included on ebay. I think I'm going for it. LRG if you're reading this and want my money, anything to say?
Oh, thanks for the heads up. That's really tempting.I'm kinda sick of waiting for Rabi Ribi from LRG and I just noticed brand new EU copies going for 30$CAD shipping included on ebay. I think I'm going for it. LRG if you're reading this and want my money, anything to say?
Do they charge international shipping? I see UK shipping is free, so I assume they do.
I must be dumb but after rereading the thread I don't get how this is incriminating LRG in any way :x
The shady seller offered unlimited quantities of this Jason code, but that's not a game created, nor published, nor supported by LRG.
Edit : they apparently helped send the physical Kickstarter rewards but from what I gather they weren't in charge of generating codes.
They also sold a few physical items related to LRG, and some PAX passes but not in an unlimited quantity far from it (like a few trading cards if I get it). We're not talking exclusive codes or anything like that.
So the problem is clearly on Friday the 13th's developer side, Smoking Gun (apparently closing topics on their forum talking about that), and I legitimately don't get why LRG is singled out and thrown as part of this "shady scam". Apart from the fact the seller is apparently living in Raleigh, and a lot of people live there, including some Smoking Gun staff like OP himself confirmed, there's nothing compelling.
This topic is poorly written when it incriminates two companies and fail to explain why one of them is accused. It undermines the rest of the investigation, because the Friday the 13th codes indeed look odd. OP keeps quoting the same thing when asked about LRG's implication, but it doesn't actually explain anything.
Also LRG's name is used sometimes in the following posts instead of Smoking Gun, proving the confusion is shared. Like when someone says "topics on LRG's forum were closed" or "LRG communicated about this a few days ago", when it just wasn't the case.
I really DO wonder how World End Economica, Fault Milestone-One- and Narcissu are coming along (two of which I'm still waiting on my physical PC copies on :x)
Side note, Root Double was supposed to have been submitted for ratings approval a while ago and nothing on that since. I hope LRG can find a way to do a retail release of that too, even though I know it's too big for one cart (do a special version with two carts like SD Gundam did?)
would've imported Rabi Ribi by now. But I'm waiting for the Vita version. ><
I still don't understand how all of this was supposed to be working out. Weren't Mighty Rabbit supposed to be porting the engine they're all made in into Unity so they could be ported to PS4/Vita? And that was supposed to be finished in like Q1 2017 and we haven't had much of an update since?
But Narcissu was announced after all this so I've no idea if that was included as part of this agreement.
Either way, it'd be nice just to have a proper update. I'm sure we're going to hear of Switch versions coming too, which is fine, I just want them to finish up the Vita version :P

Is it really taking Mighty Rabbit almost two years to release a single port for Sekai Project?

While I think Rabi Ribi will happen (probably around the middle of the year,) I think all these other games are DoA.
This was the plan at some point but some issues seem to have cropped up and prevented it from happening.
Fault and WEE were actually shown off at PSX a few weeks ago, so they still exist, in digital-form at least. But there hasn't been anything said on those about an actual release yet.
The reality is that with a print of a few thousand copies, it is just not going to be worth it to do the coding and print an extra cart. I mean right now LRG isn't even able to put the latest patch on a Vita cart.
Additional programming wouldn't make it worthwhile, specially since it's a japanese developer that didn't bother to do it for the japanese release in the first place.
OT: I wonder when we're getting Revenant Saga. The ESRB rating seems like a long time ago.
Rabi Ribi is scheduled for next month and does have a limited edition.
Just thought I should give everyone a heads up!

What about the games Mighty Rabbit was supposed to be porting for Sekai Project?
Sweet! Glad I waited! As a European it sure was tempting to get the game for 12£ but now I'm glad I didn't, so I can see what LRG's version looks like. :) I'm happy you're still doing CEs for select titles.
Please reveal your February line up soon....the wait is haaaard!
EDIT: I heard today that you practically have to destroy or at least damage the box from the "Windjammers" CE in order to take out the game or the frisbee....and that you can shake out the poster underneath the frisbee, kind of. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Would be a shame, the box looked to good in theory.
Mighty Rabbit gave those games back and Sekai Project is handling them. They are almost done and we even had one of them running at PSX.
Not sure how people are opening them if they are destroying the box... I had no trouble opening them, granted I'm biased but still!

I'm ready.
Could you take all items out of the box without damage? Someone spoke of having to cut through glue with a knife carefully so it wouldn't tear. There's even a photo....it's on that German forum nexgam LRG has an account on, so maybe you can check it out. It's all in the dedicated LRG thread there....looked quite worriesome but it's good to hear it should all work without issues.
By the way, are you guys doing "Super Hydorah"? Everyone keeps saying they're NOT handling that one and I'm beginning to think that nobody will be doing a physical release after all. ^^ (Play-Asia seemed to be the frontrunner but they're out, it seems....so maybe you're back in?)

If we did it I was thinking it'd be sweet if it was in a SNES style box!:D
If there ever comes a time at which you will be able to confirm it, please consider a really nice CE, maybe with a model landscape, i.e. a diorama....it's such a beautiful "Gradius" style look which would really shine in model form.

I know I have done a lot of grousing here and in the old country on the volume and quality of communication from LRG. So I wanted to mention that I feel like communication has been really good recently. Frequent, to the point and highly-responsive when there is a general unease about stuff. When the weirdness happened with the stolen codes at the distributor LRG's response was darn near immediate. Communication recently has been damn good.
LimitedRunGames I got shipping notice on Jan 28th but its still waiting to be picked up according to the tracking. Is this normal or should I escalate it somehow with your customer service?
Today 4 games arrived: Steamworld Dig, Steamworld Heist, Claire and Windjammers. All for the Vita. Happy that they didn't get lost in transit.
