Doing accounts all day in front of my pc affects my eye too. Can understand it must be tiring to make games working in front of a display all day.
All their studios are taking their sweet long ass time to deliver their games so i doubt theres pressure from Sony to get it released this year. More likely kojima put this date because he felt confident he will be able to deliver by then.
Yeah, he posts it occasionally lol. Looks like a pretty good 3d print done with multiple color filaments. If you have an iPhone X it isn't too hard to scan and do the same to yourself!

The 'insect' in the title is a reference to a picture book Kojima has taken a liking to lately. It's about a cicada that works in a dull office.
You're carrying a big ass backpack across the gameworld, makes sense for there to be a fatigue/stamina mechanic.
They should also add some NPCs to escort while being exhausted and your weapons are broken :D
Physically he's better at hiding the fatigue of crunch time than the Cyberpunk dev and Tabata that's for sure.
