Was hoping (albeit not really expecting) that it'd premiere in the first half of next year, but clearly that's not going to happen. You'd think Disney would have pushed Marvel Studios to have live-action content for Disney+ closer to launch, though.
At the launch they said it'd be out in the first year of Disney+, so it'll probably hit next Oct/Nov. It might not have been feasible, with Endgame reshoots and promo, to have those two available any earlier for shooting anyway.

So Renner/Hawkeye will have a role in this movie then? Or at least a cameo?
I think he'd have to.

Having thought about Black Widow's arc as presented in the MCU, culminating in Endgame, it seems to me that telling her story would involve having to get into her history with Clint, or at least that would be the throughline I feel would resonate the most with the character given that it seems her movie(s) will have to be prequels of some kind and we know her end point.

A lot of the issue I had with Solo and how Han Solo's character had been handled between TFA and Solo, is that since we know about an important middle point in his life, then TFA decides to fill out the details on how it ends, when we finally get a chance to learn the beginning, it creates such a tragic arc that the movies don't even seem to realize they've created. Everyone is too worried about telling their own story and using Han to tell that story that when you look at his life (and how could you not since we see the beginning and the end a couple years apart), I could see how the writers failed to put any details in there that would have gave his life more meaning and context, regardless of where he began or ended up.

As interesting as it would be to visit many points in Nat's life and see how it formed her, we've seen how her redemption is possibly the most important driving factor in her life (as well as finding a family) and how Clint was instrumental in giving her a second chance and believing she could be a better person.

Of course, there is a chance that Budapest is disappointing and it's like the Kessel Run where it gets built up so much in fans' minds that nothing could live up to it, but we also know that that was an important event in both those characters lives, and it could potentially be the place where Clint was sent to kill Nat and ended up sparing her life, which would make the significance of Budapest vital to both those characters and important to revisit for Widow as a character.

Killmongers last line before his death is probably the single best line in any MCU movie, hell one of the best period. So powerful.

Jumping in because I just saw the title, but I thought Far From Home was confirmed multiple times to be the final Phase 3 movie?

Reposting from the box office thread:

Excellent holds for Endgame overseas, expected domestic numbers. The OS holds basically put Avatar back in the menu for Endgame.

Total Lifetime Grosses:

Foreign: $1,844,000,000 70.5%

Daily countdown:

The Avengers: Endgame box office cume is estimated at 2,614,805,870.

This means that it needs estimated 173,159,217 to top Avatar.

Tony: "If you'd told me 10 years ago that we weren't alone..."

Tony, Iron Man 3 was 10 years ago. You'd already fought the Chitauri by then. What are you talking about?

Lol can't believe no one caught that.

we're not gonna get John Krasinski and Emily Blunt as Reed/Sue are we? :(

We fucking better.

It's too perfect.

I think it's safe to say that by the end of this week we'll be less than 100M away.
