I got my code earlier in the mail and from what I recall from the discord, there may be multiple waves being sent out. This initial wave is limited to 30,000 codes.

From the official Discord:

• Extra codes will start going out in many ways after codes are given, these are available to all regions.
• Future tests will expand into more regions. This one however is focused on NA
• There will be no NDA, meaning those who get in can stream and record and make content all they like
• Alpha lasts 10 days

Known methods for extra codes:

• Offical Content Creator Streams
• Danny's Happy Caravan (Randomly selects an undisclosed amount of people in the discord that didnt get in the 30k test) Separate from the "Caravan Stream"
• Reaching a certain level in game draws from a limited supply pool of extra codes. One per player
