ROFL
I thought they were working through the weekend on it and it wasn't looking good. Wonder what happened

As a fan of both Shield and Community, I approve of this title.
Maybe ManaByte got the wrong info considering his twitter speculation was off as well.
Yeah.
Same!

I could see this.My personal belief: Disney asked them to keep on the air for one more season with a wink and a nod that they would then bring it over to the streaming service. With the Netflix shows more up in the air, in regard to when they will hit Disney's streaming service and in what form, they can now launch with an original Marvel show and one with a built-in fan base who would definitely jump on the service to see these characters continue.
Six Seasons and a Universe
Btw, does the 13 episodes have anything to do with Clark Cregg's potential scheduling conflict with Captain Marvel? Is Clark already filming scenes for Captain Marvel already? This is all assuming that Coulson survives the season finale....
Yeah, about the only thing that could throw a wrench would be reshoots. It started filming in February. I don't know if it's wrapped yet but if it were going to get in the way of Agents of SHIELD, it would have happened with the end of season 5, not season 6.
Well, for one, is there any reason to assume his role would be a large role? Trying to think of what his largest MCU role was (Avengers or Thor 1?) and if his Captain Marvel screentime will be as long. I can't figure him having a large role in it, but I do hope for more than an Easter Egg Cameo.Btw, does the 13 episodes have anything to do with Clark Cregg's potential scheduling conflict with Captain Marvel? I said on Friday that they were thinking of doing a shorter season.

Sure, but you also said they were working on it through the weekend when we have evidence they knew since the 11th.
Don't forget his Hot Scoop that Clark Gregg removed "Coulson from AoS" from his Twitter bio -- something that was never actually there and he took as fact because some random dude on Twitter said it to him.
Hard to do speculation on Captain Marvel, but I've seen people mentioned maybe this is how Fury loses the eye, and the whole Skrulls/"trusts few people" thing happens. Maybe Coulson is proven trustworthy in the midst of that, and is why he and Fury were always that close (and why Fury would do the things he did to bring Coulson back). So, taking that thought into account, maybe it's a decent sized role.
Early 90's, right? If Coulson is basically the same age as the actor, he'd be late 20's/early 30's. Definitely an agent. Think May's supposed to be the same age. So yeah, I'd kill for an Agent May cameo.
Oh yeah, we are absolutely seeing how he lost his eye.
Yep. And the best part is that it wouldn't even require digital de-aging like with Clark Gregg and Sam Jackson!
Let's all just remember that Ming-Na is fucking 54 years old.
Fun fact of the day:
Max Osinski (Davis) and Dichen Lachman (Jiaying / Daisy's mom) are married.
I assume people have thought about it, but I'd love for some further connection between the Kree, SHIELD and not being surprised to see Blue Aliens (since they've had a blue guy on ice since WW2 i.e. Agent Carter -> T.A.H.I.T.I.)
Wonder if Carol gets revived by the Kree/Kree Blood, and that's where SHIELD made the connection!
Maybe a little for Clark. At least a Wig and some tape to pull back his face skin.
That was a fun call from my friends in the Cinematic Universe, who I normally see at these events, saying, 'You know, we think once again we have some work for you, but it takes place in the '90s. Can you go to the gym?' Yeah, I said, 'The '90s? I mean, there is no gym that can get me back to the '90s.' And they said, 'Well, don't worry. We've been working on that technology, and we think we can goose you back a few years.'
IIRC, wasn't Dichen casted because Max Osinski had like a minor bit part in Season 1, then they casted Max afterwards to be a recurring character?
I know Davis was a minor character in season 4 and he's had more screen time in the second half of season 5. And I saw him with the cast in a picture on Instagram and thought to myself, "What was his first episode in season 4?" So I looked up the character on the AoS Wikipedia...
Oh, right. Season 1.
... Wait, what?
Yes, Davis had an incredibly minor background appearance in season 1's weird ghost episode. A single scene.
They then decided to bring him the actor back in season 4. I never realized this at all.
It would be fun if they could cast his wife in Captain Marvel for something quick.
(His wife's Jennifer Grey :D )
Yup, full circle.
