Not sure about that. The first Nioh was supply constrained at launch, and digital sales were high because of that. Nioh 2 is fully available. I wouldn't assume that digital is higher.

The debut of Nioh 2 is flat compared to the first game, which sold 89.903 units FW.
67% drop for PMD is nice, I guess. I would have expected a bit harsher drop, but I guess the situation around the coronavirus may help boost second week sales a bit.
My Hero Academia will see a big drop compared to the first game, which sold 38.719 units FW on NSW and PS4 combined. Can't say I'm surprised tho.
Hardware sales for both NSW and PS4 were up again, which is a good sign, even though evergreen software sales were down. Next week will be huge.

Switch evergreen sales don't show a big drop but just an average week over week drop. So at the moment doesn't seem the virus is affecting sales negatively.
Of course it is possible that digital increased but we don't have the data to assume it is higher than the last entry that faced stock problems.

Here is an anecdote from this week: one of my students came in with a new 3DS, I said "oh hey what happened to your old 3DS", and he replied "I got a new one, since they canceled school it was really easy to convince my parents to get me it".

Kerotan aside from school being closed, being out of toilet paper, masks, and disinfectant, and some stores closing a few hours earlier than normal, Japan is business as usual. Besides, it makes little sense to pay about 30% more for a digital copy you can't sell back to Geo or Bookoff when finished.
