Somewhere. I think.
Fantastic debut for the Switch Lite, and great OG model sales too.

Pretty ok debut for Zelda, curious about its legs more than anything (especially in post-BOTW world).

Switch had a great week. Switch Lite did pretty well (3rd best opening for a Nintendo hardware revision) and, most importantly, these sales confirm that Switch and Switch Lite are seen as complementary products by consumers (indeed, Switch sales grew week-over-week).

Of course, Switch software followed and evergreen had big increases.

Nintendo hardware revions FW (Famitsu):
1. New 3DS + New 3DS XL - 233.483 (2 days)
2. 3DS XL - 193.441 (2 days)
3. Switch Lite - 177.936 (3 days)
4. DSi - 170.779 (2 days)
5. Game Boy Color - 155.774 (5 days)
6. Game Boy Micro - 148.117 (4 days)
7. Game Boy Advance SP - 117.859 (3 days)
8. DSi XL - 103.524 (2 days)
9. DS Lite - 67.653 (4 days)
10. New 2DS XL - 36.860 (4 days)

Uknown:
X. Game Boy Pocket
X. Game Boy Light

2DS debuted with 19.252 FW. 2DS was released earlier on alongside Pokémon Green/Red/Yellow donwload codes; that version sold 69.234 units FW.

Amazing results for the Switch (Lite and OG). Okay start for Zelda.

Looking forward to the top 30 to see some evergreen bumps.

141k for Zelda is not as incredible as how the game seems to perform in the US and the UK, but I'm not going to pull a Citibank here. 141k is still a good number.

MHW Iceborne will end up slightly below my PL prediction, but who cares. Good performance imo.

This was a genuinely fantastic launch for the Lite. Not only because it sold great in its own right as a revision, but also because it didn't at all decrease OG sales (they increased)! A very promising start indeed!

Biggest switch weeks according to famitsu:
  1. Week 51 2017: 303,504
  2. Week 51 2018: 300,661
  3. Week 50 2018: 285,513
  4. Week 49 2018: 278,313
  5. Week 38 2019: 239,740
  6. Week 50, 2017: 230,259
  7. Week 1 2019: 225,698
  8. Week 46 2018: 180,585
Media Create:
  1. Week 49 2018: 281,222
  2. Week 50 2018: 281,213
  3. Week 51 2018: 278,701
  4. Week 51 2017: 269,684

  7. Week 46, 2018: 200,850

The DS lite was that low? Isnt that the same system that made DS sales explode?

Nice debut for Switch Lite.

Curious if the PS4 numbers include some Amazon estimates since it had a 5k off deal for a few days.

Switch lite surely had an amazing opening on Famitsu. Crazy the difference with Media Create...

Switch OG also looking strong.
Link's awakening also good opening.

Wait, Ni No Kuni Switch charted and Remastered not?
yep, i'm pretty sure in every single region the result has been switch version>>remastered version. which is kind of funny considering it's priced higher and doesn't have the fancy 'remaster' title lol

My guess would be new Lite owners leaned towards used games for more savings.
actually that's a really good point. people are probably even more likely to go to used games when purchasing along with a brand new console - you're more conscious of saving money when you're making a big purchase

The full potential of the Switch is almost completely unlocked now. After Pokémon and Animal Crossing it will be a bloodbath

Those vita sales kind of hurt my soul. I'm surprised at how high Xbox 1 is. Gears putting in work.

Great hardware sales!

Honestly kind of underwhelming FW Link's awakening numbers, but maybe the legs are good. I was expecting more software bumps given hardware.

Great numbers for the Switch Lite.

Okay start for Zelda but as always it remains to be soon how leggy it will be (and how many people bought it digitally).

MHW holding quite nicely, I'm honestly surprised at its sales all things considered.

Didn't expect to see NNK Switch chart. Even more curious then that NNK Remastered on PS4 didn't chart. Expected them to be really close, but both to be out of the top 10.

Nice Switch hardware sales. Lite is pulling big numbers.

Software is kinda meh. I wish La would have made bigger numbers although is kinda surprising to see Ni No Kuni selling best on Switch considering JRPG releases tend to favor PS4 in Japan, rest of the world will most likely follow trend.

so in both UK and japan, the non-remastered version of NNK sold more than the remaster

good debut for link's awakening, i hope it has decent legs.

Remember, Zelda is relatively speaking, the least popular AAA Nintendo franchise in Japan (relative to Overseas). Breath of the wild has ~12% of sales in Japan, while most other titles have 20-30%.

Also keep in mind that digital is growing massively thanks to vouchers, so this doesn't even give the full picture for LA first week. i would be surprised if it was less than 20% digital (so potentially more than 35k sales aren't here).
