Damn, her and Jackie's career has really diverged. Its a shame that it took this long for the west to finally accept her. Well, asian leads in general. Shes literally a hotter prospect as she ages.

Do you think it's lucky that one of the best directors of our time made a good Blade Runner film, or lucky that he was the one picked for it?

Because I'd agree that we were luckily that Villeneuve was picked. I wouldn't trust even Ridley Scott himself to revisit Blade Runner.

I think we were lucky to have Dennis but also lucky to have a good script/story.

I agree that I would be apprehensive about Ridley Scott returning. He's hit and miss in my book (more miss when he has greater control over the story imo). And this is coming from a fan of his lol.
