Michigan just released their unemployment numbers: 108,000 last week. Up from a usual 5,000. (Over 540,000 people in Pennsylvania alone)

I had some friends that were let go right before this whole thing happened and those were some horrible calls. I can only imagine where this will go

I'm trying to apply for unemployment now on the michigan website. It's under so much load, when I tried using it 2am in the morning I got stuck because the "click here after reviewing all information" function isn't working. I click it, it asks me what employer I'm leaving. I choose it, press okay. Then try to go to the next page and it keeps telling me I didn't click the review all information button.

I was moaning and annoyed all night. And the call lines are completely full to the point any attempt to call immediately leads to the phone ending after a second or if I spam click the call button it just tells me lines are full.

I just want to apply for unemployment T_T
