Don't expect anything more from the Mariners than what we got last season. I'll be here for the ride no matter what though.

I'm ready for the daze of disappointment of being an Angels fan. But I'm not going to get bent out of shape about it this season. I'm all Ted Lasso vibes about the team as long as Ohtani plays for them.

Do your best this season, Halos — and try your hardest to do Ohtani and Trout proud.

If that fails, please give me another team that isn't the Yankees to root for, Ohtani. but who am I kidding, Ohtani is probably the only person on this planet that could change my mind about the Yankees

Super excited for the new rules now that we have actual games that matter with them.

I'm in Sydney for the start of the season; 7am baseball is gonna be weird. Here's hoping T-Mobile doesn't fail me!

Good luck to all the AL East opponents.

May you all hover around .500 for the season with the diminished inter-division schedule of 13 games each, eat up your wins against the AL Central, and watch the Blue Jays soar to the division win.

Let's go Padres
Time to finally take the NL West from the Dodgers.
Oh and maybe your first World Series ever.

Yay it's the point of the season where the White sox will be closest to .500, and then after they lose the first game to the Astros that will be the next closest, and then after they lose the second game that will be, and after they lose the third.... :P

but at least I can root for them without tony la russa involved at all, that feels nice at least :)

The Nats are rolling out Patrick Corbin as our Opening Day starter.

In case you were wondering about our plans for this season.

Current Yankees are extremely cheap, I miss George.. with that said I think the dodgers gonna offer him a blank check to go there.

I look forward to the Orioles shooting up to first place in the AL East for a week or two in May and then plummeting to the cellar in classic form.

Haven't really been watching sprint training games so I'm curious to see how the changes play out. Might make going in person a bit better too - it was sometimes great to just chill out and enjoy the long games on a nice day but more often than not I was just kinda ready to go by the time it was over.

Also don't forget...
https://www.nytimes.com/2023/03/29/sports/regional-sports-networks-bankruptcy.html

Diamond Sports, which operates 19 channels across the country under the banner of Bally Sports, declared bankruptcy earlier this month. These channels show about a third of all M.L.B., N.B.A. and N.H.L. games in local markets. Diamond Sports has more than $9 billion in debt and hopes an orderly bankruptcy will wipe out most of it and help transition its business toward a digital future.

If shit hits the fan
Bally Sports' roster includes 14 MLB franchises, ranging alphabetically from the Arizona Diamondbacks to the Texas Rangers. MLB has pledged to produce its own broadcasts, using MLB Network and the MLB.TV app to show each team's games, if needed, but Diamond indicates that won't be neccessary.

I expect nothing from the Dodgers, after last year historic choke I may even watch more Angels games this year.

As it is, was and must always be - let's go Yankees.

I grow tired and weak expecting them to go far in the postseason; too many changes make it too much of a crap shoot, and they now operate with a "budget"...but yet another crop of young players might yet get this group to the top. Hoping Volpe is real and adds that much-needed contact and speed to the lineup.

Also, hoping the end of the shift makes the game more fun and fluid!

I think the Twins have a decent team. I'm excited they got Correa, I'm hopeful for Buxton to stay healthy. But with the RSN bullshit that impacted my carrier in 2019, and their horrible playoff losing streak (fuck the Yankees) I just can't care until they get over the hump. I'm watching opening day, I might go to their home opener since I'll be there, but I am just not going to do the grind anymore.
