I think I've said it a while back (maybe during MK11) but I disliked the UMK3 ninja look after finding out the bottoms were spandex with a Sonya Blade-esque color patch on the ass. Always saw it has a being a wider hanging back cloth that would cling during certain moves or something. Loved 'em back in the day but, again, modern representations sort of kill it with such stiff, action figure looking renditions of them.
Also, is there some kind artist/rights reason why they don't quite get the tops right, ever? Or just to keep us wanting and hoping like the movie masks?
