When we hooked my fathers tv up via HDMI instead of composite, he called my brother up furious and yelled at him for 'breaking the picture' and forced us to change it back to the blurry mess it was before
Sometimes, I look in the mirror and say, "damn I'm good looking", but then I put in my glasses. Maybe your dad doesn't need to see all that HQ detail. Think about the last time you were awed with the amount of detail because of the transition to HD, nein! Your dad simply refuses to acknowledge all those pores from his favorite movie stars!

I had a DVD player back in the day, but since then I've only watched TV and movies via YouTube and Netflix. I've still never seen anything on Blu-ray and at this point I doubt I ever will.
