Yeah, I read this yesterday and it sorta made me reconsider buying my first house in my hometown as I'm right on the coast(NE England specifically).

Isn't the earth's magnetic field supposed to be moving around at the same time too?

Random cosmic rays hitting you, equatorial aurora, crazy tides AND all the climate fun of the planet getting hotter.

Moon wobble is actually kinda freaky when you see it (very!) speeded up!

That's a completely different phenomena to the one being discussed.

Look at the dates on that gif. That's a one month sequence. The sequence described in the OP and that NASA is referring to is 18 years long.

That gif says 2007 - so has this already happened very recently?

It's been happening for millions of years.

Both the monthly procession shown in that gif and the 18 year cycle this is actually about are aspects of the Earth's and the Moon's complicated orbits.
