As an old school Pistons fan all I can say is hell yeah! LOL
Arcade scene at the time had revisions.
There was a NBA Jam that was released with Jordan in the game, then he was removed because MJ was not in the NBAPA
...then MJ requested a modified version with him in the game when it became popular.
Why so serious? The game was quarter muncher. Plus it's not like you got a free credit of you win.

David Stern patched the league after Jordan went asking for help like a crybaby in 1990 this is just a little revenge for that.

It was an arcade game. Their entire existence was made to eat your quarters.
Unethical? Really? It's a video game not medicine. Furthermore, it's an arcade game where things such as difficulty spikes, input reading, and cpu rule breaking was rampant. Perhaps you should brush up on both what an arcade game is and the definition of ethics.

This has nothing to do with eating quarters? In a competitive game you basically have the game cheating you out of wins against other players because of team choice
My point is arcade games are inherently based on getting you to spend as much money as possible i.e. a fairly unethical notion. Its why so many games of the time were hard as fucking Hell.

It's NBA Jam, the rubber banding is ridiculous anyway. The original is such horseshit that one of the selling points of NBA Jam TE is the ability to turn it off and play without handicapping.
