It's a poll without a democratic opponent. Also election day is a long way out so anything could happen.
That's why the electoral college exists, so that the pesky population doesn't get in the way of democracy.
But do those four occupy a majority of states in the US? Remember, Trump lost the popular vote the first time around as well.
and he won three key states by a paper thin margin that he needs to replicate in order to win again.
He won by....80,000 votes across three states running against the most hated candidate of the dems.
Not gonna happen twice.
Generic Dem should hurry up and declare their candidacy.
This is one of the worrying things about the whole Trump situation. I'd say it's damn near certain he'll get voted out but the fact that so many people would still vote for him after everything that's happened is scary.
This is how I feel. As long as we do the work, we'll win this.
I just tried but there wasnt anybody around so I left a napkin with my vote for Bernie under a rock next to the polling site.
4 out of 10, and that's with a good economy and reasonable labour market, both of which may change soon. That's pretty promising for the Democrats, in my opinion.
What's damn near certain is that he'll lose the popular vote. The current EC situation is becoming untenable.
Wouldn't be surprised to see Dems win the PV and lose the EC for the 3rd time in 12 years.
A good economy that lower incomes arent feeling. Things will get worse as the effects of his tax cuts continue to lose steam.
So if he is at 40% now he just needs 6% to repeat. With how bad he's doing that's pretty remarkable tbh.

Idk what report that is, but seemingly everyone I talk to is saying the opposite, including my Trump-loving parents.
They would have to screw up really badly. This is not a good poll for him.
