A quick search for the game shows a bunch of small figures and what not so I honestly have no clue what this is related to.

Some of those screenshots look really suspect. They remind me of how Ubisoft's marketing departments used to do bull shots 15 years ago.

I'm usually into anything Focus publishes these days though, so count me in.

This could be really cool, looking forward to it! Never heard of the IP before though.

Necromunda: Underhive Wars is the game people are thinking of - came out last year and was a little disappointing compared to studio's previous title Mordheim. This new one looks to be very different (genre, so probably studio), art style also seems different from limited screenshots.

Bounty hunting is fun. I'd be interested in giving this a go as long as it's not a online only game.
Hopefully it's got a lot of content / is very replayable. I love a game I can just play and play and play.

This is developed by the EYE: Divine Cybermancy and Space Hulk: Deathwing devs. Hopefully it will be a bit better than Space Hulk.

Necromunda is a board/table top game spinoff of WH40k that takes place in the slums of a human city. It focuses on civilian gangs rather than the military factions of other 40k games. Like a lot of Games Workshop games it had persistence between matches so your gang would develop as you keep playing it.

Underhive Wars was an adaptation of the setting but with its own game mechanics that people didn't like. This seems like it just takes the setting and throws it into a different gameplay, too.

Another spinoff setting (that doesn't have a videogame though) is a mad max world where you play as orkz building absurd vehicles out of junk and fighting other clans.

Thanks for the explanation. Threadmarked.

Oh shit. I've been itching for a bounty hunter game since Prey 2 was cancelled. Keeping my eye on this.

The real question though is will the Hired Gun have a lot of loyalty? 🤔

That's cool. I'm not hugely familiar with Necromunda as a wargame game but the setting always seemed appropriate to stage a video game in. They're not one of the major houses but I hope they manage to sneak the Corpse Grinder Cult in. They are mega sinister.

Yes, it was made by the same devs who made Mordheim
As a WH40K outsider the main title branding makes it super confusing but I get why they subtitle everything to stand out to core fans. I also totally confused this with Underhive Wars though — of which I had no idea it had already been released.

It's a brilliant setting for this style of game, and Streum on Studio did a decent job with Space Hulk Deathwing and E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy - I hope this hits it out of the park.
