Probably spot duty and held in reserve until someone retires.
They know that he's good already, but had to put the Golden Boy in so he got benched. They don't want to hand a good commentator over to a competitor if they can help it.
I don't see him staying at Fox for long. He might get picked up by a streaming service. His contract might have an opt-out clause because he lost over half his salary.
Netflix might be happy to fork out a little more to bridge that gap.

Y'all are crazy. Olsen is the best in the business. He's a million times better than Romo, Collinsworth, or Aikman.
I won't mind seeing less of Olsen's constant (and often incorrect) whining about the officiating. He acts like a fan a bit too much.

If Jalen Hurts and the Eagles don't course correct on offense, he's going to end up having a Russell Wilson like decline without ever reaching the same highs. You could see it last season how similar he looked to the worst aspects of Russ's game at times.
