I was planning on going light this month since last month was a busy one, but I already know I'm definitely getting Runbow, Octopath, and Captain Toad. And I'm sure I'll pick up a couple more like Pato Box.
No love for Bomber Crew? Come on guys, this is the closest thing we have to FTL on Switch!
Haven't played it myself, here's the OT thread:
https://www.resetera.com/threads/me...makes-the-switch-back-home-to-nintendo.43839/
Seems like the Switch users there are divided into "good collection" and "waiting for an input lag patch".
This is one genre that the Switch is definitely not lacking for.I might pick up Code of Princess EX, I need some side scrolling beat 'em up on my Switch.
This is one genre that the Switch is definitely not lacking for.
I'd even argue most of the ones you can get a leagues better than Code of Princess. Starting with Wulverblade.
Welp I'm just gonna assume you've seen all of those that seem to fall in to that graphical genre including the great Neo Geo ones.I don't like the art and animation in Wulverblade, but thanks for the suggestion. I like games that visually skew more towards classic arcade graphics of the late 80's through 90's.
On the small screen, MoA runs at a pretty constant 30fps, even during the most frantic boss fights. I did notice minor frame-pacing issues, however.I've been interested in Masters of Anima for a while but still haven't bought it. How's the performance in handheld mode?
I dunno, I felt like it was more than worth $40 and I bought it on WiiU.How is Treasure Tracker mid to late game? I enjoyed the demo but $40 is a bit steep for me if it's just more of the same. I was going to get XC2 but I'm holding out to see if these adjustment sliders will be available any time soon. If they are it'll be another $30 on top of the base game.
Wario Ware Gold 3DS for eu this month wow we never nearly get a game first but i don't mind that cuz so many times we have been the last ones.
Just found this out damn that the off the hook amiibo + bomb chicken...
Awesome month!
If you like the basic premise of the demo you will get a lot of good brain bending type how the hell do I pull this off and get everything type challenges.
Sounds good to me. The game's charming as hell but the demo levels weren't challenging.

Bomb Chicken looks insane and Heroki gives me good ol' NiGHTS vibes. I'll definitely keep an eye on these two.
Octopath Traveler, WarioWare Gold and Capitan Todd are the real stars this month, though.
On the small screen, MoA runs at a pretty constant 30fps, even during the most frantic boss fights. I did notice minor frame-pacing issues, however.
I fear this game might have sold poorly, since there's close to no buzz around it (on fora or Twitter), zero data on HLTB, nor a single post on GFAQs. A real shame considering its quality (so far).

I'm surprised at the lack of reviews/impressions on Bomb Chicken and Wolfenstein II so far, to be honest.
I'm also curious about this. I can't seem to find any real impressions on here, and there aren't many reviews either.
I believe the June thread had some small impressions but there is definitely a lack of reviews.I'm also curious about this. I can't seem to find any real impressions on here, and there aren't many reviews either.
Can't blame you, like I said it did the trick for me because portability is a must for huge games like that, but the game looked like such a garbled mess. My sight is perfectly fine, but playing Xenoblade on my 3DS was the first time a game convinced me maybe I needed glasses lol.I really couldn't. I gave it a shot 2, 3 times but my can't stand having to squint to see stuff.
It was disappointing, because it really did seem like my kind of game
Battle Chef Brigade is so lovely. I think there's a free update planned with new content, but I'm not sure what's supposed to include. Thanks for all the recommendations for Battle Chef Brigade. Downloaded it when it was on sale and thoroughly enjoyed it. Probably a game I never would have played just browsing the eShop. The only thing missing which would have been amazing would be online duels with the ability to customize your own chef.
It's ptobably a 0% chance but I would love if the devs got a bigger budget and made a more robust sequel. I really dig the world and characters.
Sucked in!I finally picked up Golf Story.
Wow! It's really good! I love it!
What's important is that you found out about it and are now trying to spread the word :)Completely missed it and never knew what it was until it came to Switch. I'd heard of Limbo but not Inside.
I got through about 1/2 of 1 on Pc but I am not sure I can take 3 full games. It was very grueling at times. Maybe I could on switch if we get the discounted three pack at some point. One day I will play through the Banner Saga Trilogy.
Hopefully in this console generation.
For anyone in the UK that has never used Zeek you can get £50 ESHOP for £41.50 if you follow this link.... Obviously I will get a few quid for the referall but you should automatically get the discount.
Mods if this isn't allowed then please feel free to delete but just thought other people could share codes as well and everyone save a bit of money. Basically you just need a new account to get the £5 discount on top of the already discounted gift cards.
Only you can share URLs without references. That one isn't allowed.
I posted it in the June thread but I would absolutely kill for Capcom to bring Chronicles of Mystara set to Switch, and also the King of Dragons and Knights of the Round. Hell I'd even be okay with a Final fight collection.
As someone who's played most of the dungeon crawls on the portables but not that one, I think there are few impressions as it's a full price, £50 game in a niche genre that is usually priced much lower. Also, I imagine some of those into Nintendo portables and demon-summoning gridders are still working through the widely praised Strange Journey Redux, that's almost half the price and has had nearly a decade of good word-of-mouth instead, it's massive.
