Nothing wrong with the meme, but the crazy attribution of a .14%-2% stock fluctuation to it is cringe. Maybe without the meme, the stock might have moved up 2.5%.

It's a joke that took off because Bowsette's entire design is extremely appealing in every way.
I doubt they would ever use Bowsette, but hypothetically would Nintendo have to pay the creator for the rights?
Y'all laughed, but seriously given that a silly comic can become a global event shows just how insanely strong and reaching Nintendo IP is, and I think this is a re-evaluation of that fact.
I want Bowsette in a game as much as anyone, but I'll tip my super crown to Peachette for making this all possible to begin with.

Yeah, I don't mean to attribute this to stock stuff. It's just amazing how much this caught on. Pixiv is still being filled up with Koopa-hime and other variants. Like, there have been monster girl/gijinkas done of Mario characters before but I've never seen a community latch on till now. It's crazy that sheer magnitude and scale of this.

Huh no, Nintendo owns the rights to Peach and Bowser. If anything the "fan author" of Bowsette should be the one paying Nintendo, lol.
