That's more on the lines of, "We will know about this at launch."LCD panels can come in both IPS and TN, and Nintendo themselves have demonstrated they are perfectly fine with opting for the cheaper option.

about a half hour more than the Switchany word on battery life? I'm in handheld 90% of the time if im not playing smash and if it can out do the 3-4 hours i get out my switch now i would gladly switch
Does it mean Lite has no USB-C? If it had, it would be possible to connect to a tv set.
There are actually a notably significant number of games that have better and more consistent framerate in portable mode (some even perplexingly running the same resolution as docked mode). Additionally smaller screen smaller pixels yada yada.Portable mode is arguably the worst way to play any game on the system, too.
z0m3le are the battery profile pretty much confirming that the Lite is more powerful than the OG ?Well this was definitely leaked, the "Pro" model is also being produced already, so I wonder when they will announce and release that one, personally this was what I expected from the Switch Lite.
This is Reggie's last fuck youNintendo really finna make people pay 200$ for a d-pad and like it
This is silly. They still kept "DS" in the title. Did you expect them to just not call it a Switch at all?
Good thing you don't work in marketing.
Can't be docked and still costs $200. I can't understand why you would chose to buy this over the original.
Maybe we shouldn't call it the Switch Lite and call it the Bait and Switch instead.I think it's funny it's still called Switch when it can't actually.....switch. I know why it's still called that as it would make no marketing sense to change it but still...funny.
Not necessarily, they likely gutted any video out stuff to save money.Does it mean Lite has no USB-C? If it had, it would be possible to connect to a tv set.

You guys are obsessed with the "Switch" name having anything to do with the Switching mechanic at this point. It's called Switch Lite so consumers know it plays Switch games. It's not that hard. Switch is a brand, not a function.
LOL. You mean piss off people who buy this early which is all that will do? There's a 0% chance this gets a price cut in a yearHopefully, they can slash the price by another $50 in a year or two to cater to the lower income segment of the market.
You're kidding, right?People want to dock this? How? If you can't remove the joycon parts it'd be unplayable docked.
thanks!about a half hour more than the Switch
3-7 hours (Orignal switch is 2.5-.6.5)
Here's all the info we have right now
... Because it would be a neat feature?
It also overclocks the chipset for the higher performance.
Unlikely, but it also seemed nuts that Nintendo would remove one of the most popular features in the Lite either 🤷♀️So is the pro going to be a display-less version? Like a regular console? I haven't been following the news
Zelda last 1 hour more on the Lite (4 hours vs 3 hours).

I thought the original was $250, I must be remembering a sale. $100 is certainly more impactful.Still? The original is $300.
$100 is a massive difference for many families who want to get their kid a new game console.
Welcome to the Internet (and Era).People pre July 2019: "What about poeple who only want a handheld? We want a handheld-only Switch! We want a handheld only Switch"
People post July 2019: "Wtf why is this not dockable? What are they thinking...omg!"
It's kind of funny, though.
Still? The original is $300.
