I predict it will be a better game than Nioh 1 but somehow review worse, 83-85 Metascore
it isn't? from what i recall, a 80-85 is a game that is not stellar, but not bad at all, so i guess "ok" fits it, sorry, i was not trying to offend the game by that
I loved 1 even though I didn't beat it. Put like 80-90 hours into it doing sidequests and whatnot.
How is the inventory system this time around? Improved/slightly less cluttered? That was my main gripe with the first game.
Just a note.
People are breaking the embargo and are posting all the bosses. Spoilers are starting to explode on youtube.
PredictionsWhat's the point of opening a review thread before there are reviews out?
It's not uncommon here for someone to post a review thread before reviews come. It allows for people to predict scores and discuss the game's reception. It also negates possibility of duplicate threads when reviews actually drop. What's the point of opening a review thread before there are reviews out?
...why not save the $60 and just play the first one?I own the first one, but haven't played it.
WIll I be lost with this one, or is it only very loosely connected like dark souls?
The missions are discrete stages. Stages are generally used several times, although each mission will have a different starting point/enemy layout/objective/environmental aspects (traps, doors being locked/unlocked, trees being down as barriers or bridges, etc.) so that each mission plays differently and often explores different areas of the same stage. Getting lost shouldn't be an issue.I own the first one, but haven't played it.
