NIS America events typically have localization announcements. We could see bigger this like Disgaea 6, but I'd only expect localization news and dates for their early 2018 lineup.
Disgaea is now a west first property sales wise. Maybe it's always been, I've never done the math on it. Would not be shocked for it to be announced first there, or in a Japanese magazine right around the same time.
Yup, Disgaea 5 did much better in the west and D5C furthered the disparity.
Don't even joke about this... Until they get the retranslation and the PC versions out this should seriously be a non-issue.
I'm cautiously optimistic about the retranslation, but these two posts back to back...
I hope they don't.
And about a new Disgaea... I'm not sure if I want it, I played D5 on the Switch and even if the gameplay is really good (the story was so-so to me), the saga needs more new things.
I would prefer some new saga from them (with Tenpei Sato composing the music obviously).
the biggest games will be announced prior. this year will be pretty quiet compared to last year (five announcements in 2017).
I hope not, just for consistency sake. The franchise doesn't need a downgrade in translation.
Would I be wrong to assume that Disgaea 6 has a chance to be announced in the Nintendo Direct instead ?
maybe in a nintendo direct in the future but dont expect d6 anytime soon.
