I like Lazertag and rooftop bar ideas. Alamo drafthouse also sounds cool. What about curling? I always wanted to try that shit.

A couple of us were contemplating on doing a meetup possibly this Friday or Saturday so your trip might overlap with that.
Nothing at all! I've yet to experience that horrible of effect after consuming it. I did wake up with a headache though.what do you have against getting a terrible stomach ache and shitting jet black for 12 hours?
I feel like I've either heard of Reclamation Bar or passed by the place obliviously. I always thought Killer Queen was only available at NYU Game Center's events or Babycastles game nights. A full 8 player game of Killer Queen is quite fun! I played a bunch of games a couple of years ago at NYU's No Quarter event (I wonder if they still do those).Been looking to try out Killer Queen. They have a cabinet over at Reclamation Bar in W'burg if anyone is interested in playing.

Man, what you doing in my neck of the woods?
Man, I can't keep track of all that nerdy shit
Only the trendy hipster areas of Brooklyn because of reasons. There is yet to be a meet up in Queens and The Bronx is foreign territory. Manhattan is win-win for everyone involved but in my experience, the further north one lives, the bigger of a pain in the ass it is to get out to Brooklyn and Queens.
Girl I've been seeing lives in Astoria. The things that get me to other boroughs.
Heads up, you're about 7 blocks away from Gyu Kaku (44th & 8th) which has half off drinks at the bar all day.Ended up getting a room at the Courtyard Times Square west. Parking right next door.
Ran into zero traffic coming in, which I'm still floored by.
It must be because of the rain/snow as people in CT don't want to drive. Last time I went to Boston, it took the bus over 4 hours as opposed to 3/3.5 hours to get into the city because of terrible traffic. Plus the guy I was sitting next to had some terrible BO emanating from him.Ended up getting a room at the Courtyard Times Square west. Parking right next door.

The mod speaks the truth: AirBnB is illegal in NY state and shady as sin. There have been far too many cautionary tales about oblivious tourists who got scammed by people. Whenever I do out of state travel, I usually share a hotel room with friends or book a bed at a hostel because I'm frugal. It's much cheaper as result.New Yorkers, I'm booking a trip for the end of May (maybe early June depending on flight prices) to your lovely city and am wondering about what are some good spots to look for in an AirBnb? close to subways, choice venues, safe. I'm just in the planning stages rn so any suggestions are welcome. I'm heading out there alone from May21st to May 28th (my current ideal dates) for mostly record shopping and whatever flights of fancy catch my eye.
Don't do AirBNB dude, short-term rentals are illegal in NY state.

If you don't mind hostels, there's one on the lower 100s street and Amsterdam that's down the street from a subway in Manhattan. I would check hostelworld.com for prices as I used it in the past and never had a bad experience. I would also stay away from skeevy love hotels near 48th street.

"Marvel Universe Live!" comes to the Barclay Center on Feb. 22, with a special preview at Grand Central Terminal on Feb. 21 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Underneath all of the colorful, flashy costumes is months of work — and usually a harness.
Coworker just told me that Grand Central has a popup setup advertising Marvel Universe Live. Which I can only pray is as good as Reptar on Ice.
Can't seem to find much on it outside of:
