Hell yes. If for some reason it's not on your radar it should be. I put it up there with some of the other best indie games of all time.

Also I kind of thought they might be able to squeak by with a T rating but I guess not lol

Awesome to see a physical version.

Was my 2020 GotY. Incredible game that really hit me hard emotionally.

There are a lot of really cool ideas in Omori, and the cast is incredibly charming. Felt like it didn't quite stick the landing as much as I would have liked and some parts of it ended up a bit disjointed feeling due to the nature of its story though, but it's still a game worth going through.

Labeling this as the "Standard Edition" must mean that there are plans for a "Collector's Edition" too right? A bit annoying because now I don't know if I should pre-order this or hold off for something that may or may not exist.

Shotacon is a genre of anime/manga/etc porn revolving around young boys, said characters are often called "shotas". Compare with lolicon and "lolis", which is the same but with young girls. They're very loaded terms for reasons I'm sure are obvious.

Shota or Shouta is also a perfectly normal Japanese name, however. The term shotacon was originally derived from a character called Shotaro.

    So slightly off topic but is there (or did the devs implement) any way to fix the horrendous frame pacing this game seems to have? I have tried to start it like 5 times because it looks like something I'd really like and each time give up because of how bad the judder and seemingly framepacing issues are. Completely unacceptable for a game in this day and age. Pixel remasters had this shit as well.

    Fake edit: Looking at the switch footage above it looks like it's still in the game wtf!

    I still haven't decided if I want to buy the physical version or not and now I'm even more conflicted lol.

    I guess either way I probably won't be playing it for a while after release due to other stuff coming around the same time
