I just adore how Pandoria mimes Zeke's movements.Zeke and Pandoria — best character intros ever?
I especially love the shot panning up Pandoria with her arms crossed while the guitar riff plays.

I really loved her backstory with him, how she loved him so much that she sacrificed part of her core crystal to save him the one time his luck ran out
I know, the theme of remembrance runs deep in this game but I feel it didn't dig deeply enough into it. I mean, blade and flesh eaters needed a lot more story imo.
I played 95% of the game handheld so my screenshots are trash quality. Guess need to dock and run around some!

I'm on the quest to rescue Pyra from Torna. I didn't know if Amalthus was going to be a bad or not. Saw the discussion and pictures on the previous page :(

I think you'll be OK, because I personally saw Amalthus' heel turn from a mile away, yet I still enjoyed the way his motivations shake out. Also, he does some amazing stuff after where you are right now, yet before the stuff you would've seen in this thread.
That being said, after reading my post... heed the thread title warning!
I love how after the cutscenes that reveals Pandoria's eyes and backstory her glasses goes clean for the rest of the game, including her character portrait in the menus.

Here are some pics I took of Nia's true form. I know it's a "titillating" design, with the exposed thighs and leotard, but it still feels classy/elegant/beautiful to me, maybe because I love Nia's character so much and it's a heartwarming scene. The choreography in her fight scenes is amazing, too.
I'm sad you didn't use the "Big Anime Kitties" title.

Small character interaction details in this game are so good. Here's one I like that's easy to miss:
In the falling scene at the end of the game, you can see Zeke falls while holding Pandoria to his chest (it's a bit clearer in the video). So cute! Also not shown in this picture, Brighid falls clutching onto Morag.

Nope! They are part of a quest you can pick up before you even get Zeke.
Tip on what to do
Go to an informant, like in Torigoth, and find a rumor for "Core Hunters". From there walk around the area outside Tora's house.

Off the top of my head, I have Roc, Wulfric, Aegeon, Agate, Azami, Gyorg, Ursula, Kora, Perceval, Perun, Vess, Floren, KOS-MOS, Nim, Elektra, and probably some others I'm forgetting.

Tips on getting her
Check the informant in Mor Ardain for something about a grubby eater or something like that. After buying that information, go to the docks in the lower level and unlock the gate on the one side (if you hadn't unlock the gate with the key you hopefully already have) Walk through and right around the corner is a salvage area. Salvage until a big mob appears..

Malthus being a rendering of the Goetic demon (as well as an actual surname) is probably more relevant.
Before the game was released, it was actually my preferred choice for Malos' localised name for that reason, as it got across their stated negative connotations while not sounding as obvious.
But given his role as what appears to be a bit part minor villain whose full importance is revealed later, Malos does work to help people think less of him.
