This looks even darker than the last season which wasn't my favorite. I really was hoping it was a bit more lighthearted this season and that doesn't look to be the case.
How lighthearted can a show about prison really be though? They've always had a good balance with this, though.
Last season was the riot right? Yeah it felt kind of off the rails
I only watched a few episodes of the first season, but isnt she the main character? She gets less and less important every season, at this point she's already just a minor character.
Not anymore really. It's really an ensemble, a very good one as well.I only watched a few episodes of the first season, but isnt she the main character?

Edit: also hyped as fuck. I love this show. With this and castle rock coming out. It's the perfect excuse to stay out of blistering sun
huh, i wasn't aware of that. Thanks! She's always there but after season 3 or so her character arc kinda stagnates and she is no longer a main focus. Now it's very much an ensemble cast kind of show like Mad Men.
Season 5 dragged. I didn't expect the whole season to be the riot.I zoned out in the middle of Season 5, not sure if I should give it another chance.
House of Cards has been going longer, I think.
House of Cards premiered in February 2013, Orange is the New Black premiered in July 2013.They both hit season six this year, the Spacey situation made Orange premiere first, though!
Nah. It was bad.Only watched the first episode of season 5 before I got distracted, worth picking up again? I don't remember anything about it.
