Queue times are already better in the OW2 Beta then the Live OW1
Yuppp. Going to be sticking purely to mystery heroes for the event skins and praying the beta comes back super quick.
So it does look like we'll be going back and forth between anniversary event on live and beta phase
And the one after it, the summer games, isn't going to have anything new either.
No idea what they're gonna do for winter games.
They said as much when they announced the original, 3 remix events to replace usual events while their main focus is OW2.
It's just weird since their skins team is a separate team? and the skins carry over to OW2, to just have basic re-colors makes the remix event uninteresting, like if they want to keep hype sort of up with OW1 Event -> Beta -> repeat, they dropped the ball on the OW1 side with these remixes
They don't even give alternative rewards for the weekly if you already own them do they?
They said after the Chinese New year event having so few skins that they will have the most new skins this year than any year in Overwatch history. I'm betting OW2 in open beta with full progression is happening by the end of the year, and that will have a lot of new skins.
Hopefully, though will say this 2nd remix seems to have some variety in the color reskins, which is not bad compared to the first just being all white for every reskin, it's more like how the old skins would have like 2 color schemes per actual skin

Yea, Weaken an Ana or other healer at the start of a rush/dive gives Moira a much needed skill boost. Or a Rein v Rein to give your Rein an upper hand in the fight. Lot of possibilities to play with.

DEVELOPER NOTE
This patch is comprised of adjustments that will help tune the live game, potentially shift the meta there, and also line up with the eventual transition to OW2.
Some lean more to the experimental side, such as with Orisa and Sombra, but we're interested to see how such changes impact their playstyle and strategies such as double barrier.

I still play almost every day. Last night I came up behind the enemy Tracer, took her down to like 50hp and perfectly stuck my pulse bomb to her when she recalled.

Muted I don't know. You do get drops on Premiere since they are mainly for EU watchers to get tokens. If it says connected under the stream you're good.
I remember one of the stories that came out of the ABK issues was that there were higher ups that were stopping LGBTQ+ representation with the game.

They've done well, but I always wanted more. I want some female character designs as "bold" as Roadhog or Junkrat. Even Junker Queen - while rather punk - is still traditionally beautiful. She's not as Disney-fied as the launch heroes, but still. Give us ladies with missing teeth and scars, poor posture and bad attitudes, and they'll find their market just as easily as Junkrat.

I have a couple myself I stick with, like most of the Halloween skins. But the only other "locked in" skin besides Pink Mercy for me is Noire Widowmaker. Tho I don't actually play widow.
I played a lot of Symmetra during the beta and I think there is something to the way they made teleporter dynamic for combat by having it cast faster but be temporary. She's going to be a bit of a force in well coordinated teams that use her teleport to flank behind enemy groups.
Maybe all she needs is to give teammates 50 points of shield HP for 3-4 seconds when they pass through the teleporter to encourage that flanking, and maybe make her turrets just a tiny bit harder to kill just for a few seconds right when they first get launched out.

If they don't give any kind of buffs by going through the teleporter, people just won't go through it sadly. No one coordinates like that in pubs for Symm's teleporter ☹️
Maybe even both a modest amount to temporary shield HP and some speed for a couple of seconds.
As it is, the way her teleporter casts and works so much faster than in OW1 is going to make some interesting flanks in fights possible. I see a good chunk of potential in her even if nothing changes about her, at least in coordinated games where teammates know to take the tele.

So many cheaters in OW1 these days. Went against a team of 3 aimboters, against 1 soldier who seems to always auto-locked into body shots anytime he starts shooting in the next match and few matches later, a Mercy on my team who seems to autolock......heal/dmg boost. The Mercy not once ever use a pistol.

The beta had a really obnoxious amount of new account Widow cheaters. 360 snap-scopes all day.
The queue times are the by far the worst they have ever been good lord. October 4/next beta is needed asap for me to get my overwatch fix. Also do Dva players exist in Diamond? Like a semi-decent junk comes along and my tank line of Rein/Hog throws their hands up like there is nothing they can do to help
