Not sure how that's surprising. The UK hardware sales split is in that region.
Marketing isn't that much of a difference late in the gen for a sequel to a multi-platform game. Everyone knows this is also on PC and PS4.

Hardware split didn't prevent the Switch from having favorable splits with some multiplats so it doesn't have that much of an effect (not to mention there's only +1 million difference between the PS4 and Xbox).

Also, your notion doesn't make any sense because I'm pretty sure Wii Sports that sold 82 million is Nintendo's best selling game.

The top 10 best selling games of all time (including 3rd parties), Nintendo got at least 5 or 6 in them at the top.

Also, I'm talking about top 10 best selling game...not top 10 best selling game series....

So yes, Microsoft's best seller game ever is Kinect adventures.
