It looks like Fire Emblem initial shipment already sold out. That represents 50.000 standard copies and 6.000 Collector Editions.

Fortunately, addition shipments are already on the way for this week.

Fire Emblem Awakening sold 70.000 units on 3DS in a year.

In UK Wolfenstein Youngblood was probably number 1, in both PS4/Xbox One. But in Australia is at number 4 in PS4 retail-only list.

FE3H reaching spot two for the month in less than a week is impressive. Need some numbers.

Slightly above Octopath Travelers sounds about right. It def. performed well - this makes me hopeful for XI S in Spain.

JRPG's with the exception of Pokémon have been performing at least on par or in most cases if they were niche better than in UK in raw figures (not just comparatively based on the size of each market), so who knows, it may even have sold more considering Fire Emblem: Three Houses debuted selling close to 20.000 units in UK. But something around the range I gave would already be a very strong launch.

Fates debuted at 8.000 so using the same growth as in the UK, we could be looking at an opening around 16.000.

Now the 3DS far more successful in Spain than in the UK so the growth might be softer between both entries.

Did the Labo Vehicle Kit really outsell Crash Nitro Kart? It's hard to believe Crash isn't in the Switch Top 10 considering it's at number 1 on PS4 and number 2 on Xbox One.

A relative got a Labo Kit for free months ago, when buying Switch + Smash + Odyssey. Outside any promotion and at a different shop than GAME. Those boxes are really big.

Very likely is when accounting for digital, though. And regardless, what with 3ds being so strong in Spain, such an increase is frankly amazing.

Yep that is true. Pretty much q guarantee that digital purchases of this game will be much higher than what they were for Fates initially.

Labo strikes me as Nintendo really misreading the market and FE is them reading the market really well. Selfishly, I hope this is sending messages to Nintendo about the type of games they should be focusing on.

Maybe more tricky, but do you have a ranking for JRPGs ? It is amazing opening for the genre. From the top of my head, I guess only KH, FF and Pokemon are opening higher ?

Nintendo will never stop pursuing new experiments like Labo - regardless of how well more proven IPs sell.
And regardless of how well Labo would have sold it wouldn't have changed the core messaging that the Switch is a console for "gamers" - the marker already confirmed it with record breaking software sales of their proven franchises. Doesn't mean that they can't use mobile or outlets ala Labo to experiment with smaller ideas.

I don't have it but it's possible. Only I can think about Dark Souls III with similar numbers. (if it's counted as JRPG)
Here there's a list with recent LTDs gather by El Manco.

Almost 6 years old and topping weekly charts in Europe, ME and Africa. It's hard to come up with adjective describing GTA Vs performance.
