I found out about the existence of this game yesterday oddly enough from a Penny Arcade comic strip. I quite like the main Paladins game, so I downloaded Strike last night and played a few matches.
I'm quite impressed, it's surprisingly fun, even though I don't normally play games like this on mobile. The controls mostly work very well for touchscreen (with the exception of the virtual analogue stick movement, which feels atrocious).
The only mobile game which I'm currently playing regularly is Jurassic World Alive, although I could see myself playing a few games of Strike a day for the next few weeks.

This game is actually quite fun. I downloaded it last night not expecting much. I am not into mobile games, let alone action mobile games. But this one is really well made. I am actually a bit excited to unlock my favorite champs from the main game, primarily Tyra but also ruckus and a couple others.

I gave it a shot. More fun than I expected, but for some reason my connection was really shaky. Speed test is returning 50-70mbps, so I'm not sure what's up.
This is so much fun. I went to play one or two games and then got sucked into like 6 more. I got enough to unlock a champ, gonna try a couple out in practice mode before deciding but probably tyra.
Summons is a great mode. Reminds me of some early closed beta paladins gameplay a little.
Seriously I am surprised this game isn't getting more attention since I seen a lot of crappier gacha rpgs do well.

Game is fun but soooo buggy. Latency is really bad and I'll frequently get disconnected from my game and subsequently stuck at a "reconnecting" screen until the enemy team invariably wins.
Needs a serious dose of polish. Kinda like regular Paladins.

That's because you can't have a Paladins topic without it soon devolving into people crying about it being an Overwatch clone, despite having never played it.
Of the 20 or so games Ive played, about 6 of them have ended in this "reconnecting" screen. That's really bad. And you never reconnect. The process is broken. I can't get another game either. I have to restart the whole app.

Too true. Mods don't care either, they just let the shit posting go on uncontested.

Nah, it's been happening since Monday at the latest. That's when I started playing, and I had the issue on my second game.

Ugh, I hate this game. It's so broken on a networking and performance level, but it has a core appeal to it that makes it hard to just drop.
