Are you kidding, Urien's always ready for summer fun.
They really should have done what i was thinking it could have eventually have been a thing: have a separate Adults Only section in the store that can only be unlocked by presenting some sort of valid ID. Purchases in this store part of the store would disable the use of payment processors that are against porn. This sucks. Vavle managed to organically position itself as a place to get certain types of content that no other major platform could get due to console manufacturers having rating regulations and no other major PC digital distribution platform existing. That all goes out the window here and Steam ends up with the same dumb regulations as consoles.
If it's legit a legal issue, then the only thing I can blame Valve for here is a lack of communication and not being prudes.

While I waited for a kiosk at ZA/UM's very popular booth to become available, I chatted with community manager Danielle Woodford and game designer Robert Kurvitz, who both effused their affection for the timeless Black Isle RPG Planescape: Torment — a fondness I happen to share. Between the three of us, we agreed that combat was the least interesting part of the old Infinity Engine titles. Much like in tabletop, Planescape: Torment shined brightest when the player navigated its syrup-thick lore, shaping their protagonist in a way that was wholly unique to each playthrough. This, Kurvitz explained, is why each of Disco Elysium's combat encounters is an important story event decided through narrative-heavy skill checks and dice rolls, as opposed to a more traditional combat engine.
Initially, I'd taken our conversation simply as praise for Chris Avellone's knack for high quality, immersive narrative design, but once I was set up with the demo for myself, it quickly became apparent that Disco Elysium has no doubt also been inspired by Planescape: Torment's surreal brand of existential horror.
I mean i'd just take a option anyone could check to unlock it, but that's not very realistic. A ID check for the unlock would be a decent compromise. Better than just removing games, at least.

Also not all countries are as terrible as the US to get a ID either.
This sounds really, really cool.Preview on Disco Elysium: http://www.rpgfan.com/previews/Disco_Elysium/index.html

Game is going into closed beta soon.
^^^ I have a Game Pass trial and was considering trying that one out. I feel like it's been a WHILE since I've played a platformer like this.
How long did it take to finish?

is there a possibility to check if a game was in any kind of a bundle in the hidden gems list?
I am curious if bundling affects the user rating heavily. I would think, that bundling would drive the rating down because you have users that didn't buy the game on their own.
Most niche games that are competent/good have a very good rating because the users who buy those games know what they get into and get not a lot of blind buyers who don't like the game after they tried it, bringing the score down.
I don't know when it will be officially available. There are still frequent updates. However, if you want to try it, you can follow the procedure here:

I take it the Deathwing Enhanced Edition will just replace the current one in the store?
Yeah, it looks so damn good. But why is there no pre-order yet? Any word on the price?
Is that on publishers not caring, or does have something to do with store policy? Because it's strange how you can preorder almost any big title on GMG and co. but very often, on the Steam store page it just says "Release Spring 2019" (or similar) until a month or so before release.

I see. That's a fair price but I'll wait for the Steam pricing first.
But I've been pre-ordering games on Steam left and right all these years.

Do you mean for certain publishers only?

I don't think Valve wants to sell porn. But I totally agree that they should have a seperate section for games like HuniePop etc. But then comes the question, should Witcher and GTA be in there? They really should have done what i was thinking it could have eventually have been a thing: have a separate Adults Only section in the store that can only be unlocked by presenting some sort of valid ID. Sex & Censorship's Barnett has been concerned that a great deal of content could be caught in the new regulation's net that shouldn't. But the law does attempt to clarify this. It refers to videos or parts of videos that are already assigned an R18 certificate, but goes on to refer to "any other material" that "would be an R18 certificate".
The law also covers works "produced solely or principally for the purposes of sexual arousal" – the inclusion of the term "principally" seems subjective, and will require the BBFC to use its judgment, possibly creating its own rulebook of what is and is not NSFW. "This is legal content, and creating barriers for adults to access that legal content is in itself damaging to freedom of speech and access to information," Paul Bernal, a lecturer at UEA Law School and author of Internet Privacy Rights: Rights to Protect Autonomy, said in 2017.
