It really does, if only the gameplay was as good.

FFXV demo looks awful, sorry fans. With everything at max, I still see pop in, texture work even just a few meters in front of you is terrible, not to mention the stuff in the distance, and why can't I select VXAO? Anyway, I have no idea what intern implemented the Ansel integration but they have a reverse depth buffer so DOF is reversed in Ansel, which gives awful results at close up and it's difficult to control it.
