Wow, these are cursed. I kind of don't mind the beta Garchomp line, though. Almost wouldn't mind that as a separate set of Pokemon.

I mean some of it is obviously programmer art that's being refined, lol


Baby Shinx is the best, guess they dialed down the cute though for the final.

I like how beta garchomp line's colors look like the buizel line. Perhaps there's a connection with that?

Glad they changed the direction with Torterra cause the old one, not a fan

Oh yeah, I'm not saying any of it was supposed to be close to final or anything, but it's still delightfully cursed no matter what stage it's at.

Garchomp line, Abomasnow, and Yanmega definitely look cooler. Yanmega looks even more like it should be Bug/Dragon (it's a DRAGONly - this has always pissed me off and will continue to).

Regigigas and Giratina are hilarious.

Beta Snover looks kind of feminine...

Have we seen Froslass beta yet? I wonder if at one point Snover not Snorunt had the Dawn Stone Evolution.

Also I haven't seen Tangrowth. In DP you couldn't naturally obtain Tangela unlike the other Pokemon with evolutions, making me wonder if that was a late addition.

Kimairan is its Japanese name.

To me it looks like part Landorus, part Type:Null.

Looks like they probably scrapped it for Giratina and reused its chimera concept for Type:Null later.

Maybe they felt it didn't fit well for a plan for Platinum.
