And damn at Castlevania in the top ten! Like... what?! Get PS1 Classics on the PS4 already Sony, that shit clearly sells.

CoD released on October 12th, of course it won. It was always going to win the month of October.

RDR2's launch absolutely obliterated it though, and it's guaranteed to be the highest selling game of 2018.

Ah ! I was making the same thread, so I'll copy past here :

Despite breaking the new launch record for any game on the PlayStation Store, Red Dead Redemption 2 was not able to beat Call of Duty : Black Ops 4 due to being released on October 26th versus October 12th. Treyarch's game is number one both in Europe and America.

Unsurprisingly, Spider-Man legs are showing on both sides (it also has the best selling DLC of the month besides Fortnite) and other exclusives like God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Detroit Become Human and The Last of Us Remastered are once again doing great.

The US top 10 is probably the most heartwarming one since SoulCalibur VI and Castlevania Requiem both managed to get in the top 10 (but not in the european top 20).

Needles to say Astro Boy slayed the PS VR charts everywhere, as it should be.

I mean I did see a ton of ads for it on pretty much any gaming related YouTube video I watched so that probably helped.

This all but points The Last of Us Part 2 being a gigantic piece of entertainment when it launches.

Why are people saying that Astro Bot is selling well? I don't see it in either list in the OP nor the full EU one posted above.

Soul Calibur VI actually seems to have had a pretty decent performance honestly.

Number 8 in an October this stacked for a fighting game isnt a bad result at all

Not sure why people are surprised, CoD released earlier specifically due to RDR2

This allowed them to get int front of it and still gain a ton of sales

RDR2 will still be the best selling game of the year though

No surprise COD won with way more days,how much time until GTA V surpass COD and RDR2?
Also,nice to see 3 exclusives in a row,the Last of Us is the GTA V of Sony exclusives.
