The last figure was 80 million as of March 31st 2018.

Plus would be a more interesting data, but still impressive! :O
I wonder if they can still be the leader when the next gen comes, or they will not learn from the past and lose the crown...

That's almost 1:1 with PS4 sales. Although I suppose there is PS Now users on PC and just a few Vita users in the too. But I doubt that amounts to much.

Although you need to take 3x off that number for my Indonesia, Turkey and US accounts which I use to buy cheaper games (UK store is a rip-off!).

I think you're confused, this isn't the number of PSN subscribers.
