A friend started playing campaign again recently which got me excited at the idea of going back.
My original time with L4D2 was a quick shot in the campaign and then nightly versus games that would start at various times and last for 2-6 hours depending on the night. It is some of my best gaming memories.
The two of us are veterans and are playing with 2-3 friends that just got the game in the Steam sale and this game is still fantastic. We're playing campaign on advanced with them and there a lot of deaths as they learn the map, specials and other stuff but this game is so good. It's so much fun. From the scripts of the characters, to the specials, the zombie hordes, ugh, I love it.
Valve, where is L4D3?
Btw, anyone still play versus? Once we get these two accustomed to the whole campaign I think we're going to start looking for some people to get to a group of 8 so we can start playing versus again.
