I decided to board the hype train for this one and believe it's Retro. The fact that ot's published by Nintendo of America is an interesting hint. Not a Japanese game?
These definitely makes this sound as indie game.
After Sushido, if EclairCity isn't a code name, Nintendo should probably give their developers more food.
Kirby Star Allies' project name in the files is "Eclair". Taking from Kirby Planet Robobot's project name being Torte, and how it was confirmed that its full name was "TorteCity", I just think that "EclairCity" is just Kirby Star Allies.
It's probably the next Donkey Kong game, featuring the return of his greatest foes- the Cake Crew.
Seems most plausible for an older IP to use. A city based Animal Crossing would be interesting.
