tbh, regardless of wether or not this tweet is true, it's like 99% certain a new crash game will release within the next 2 years after how successful the n.sane trilogy was
And who is this guy?
"Pode conter algum tipo de exclusividade"
it's right there
Bury him.
That means it may contain some type of exclusivity. Crash Team Racing contained some type of exclusivity and it wasn't a timed exclusive.
It is a PlayStation icon, it's a shame that IP doesn't belong to SIE.Timed exclusive again?
Man, Sony needs to fucking let go of this shitty practice.
I know it makes them money but still, doesn't make it less shitty.
They told me it's going to be one the games announced together with the PS5. It might have some kind of exclusivity, but this hasn't been defined yet.
It is a PlayStation icon, it's a shame that IP doesn't belong to SIE.
A shit ton of Crash games came to consoles outside Playstation in the past 20 years. It is a PlayStation icon, it's a shame that IP doesn't belong to SIE.
Bahahaha. A screenshot from my GOAT in a thread about a new game in my favourite platformer series. Love it.
I know that but when I think of Crash the first thing that comes to mind is the OG PlayStation.A shit ton of Crash games came to consoles outside Playstation in the past 20 years.
I'm gonna say yes. People like Crash Bandicoot games. Will it sell without the nostalgia aspect that propelled the remasters to high sales numbers? I'm gonna say no.

When i think about MGS, Tekken or Resident Evil, OG Playstation is the first thing that also comes to my mind. But these are 3rd Party franchises now. Times change.I know that but when I think of Crash the first thing that comes to mind is the OG PlayStation.

Crash, Sly, and Ratchet outshine Knack so hard it's not even funny.
Always goes to og Xbox for my original experience with the seriesI know that but when I think of Crash the first thing that comes to mind is the OG PlayStation.
Daxter*Three years for a Crash game seems like a bit much, i'd believe that for a reimagined Jak and Dexter game.
Sony likes to have a family game for its console launches. If they could not prepare Ape Escape 4 or Ratchet and Clank or whatever in time for launch then I could see them paying off Activision to keep Crash off other platforms for a year. Activision is more than happy to accept Sony's money as we've seen throughout this generation. That makes slightly more sense, but I would think it would be weird to go back to timed exclusive after CTR wasn't. Not out of the realm of possibility though...
Good point, but Crash was made by Naughty Dog it screams PlayStation :DWhen i think about MGS, Tekken or Resident Evil, OG Playstation is the first thing that also comes to my mind. But these are 3rd Party franchises now. Times change.
Hasn't he a PS icon for years. It's a shitty practice. There have now been more Crash games on other systems than exclusive to PS.It is a PlayStation icon, it's a shame that IP doesn't belong to SIE.
I just don't see how this could be true at all. I honestly dont see what place a Crash game has in the modern gaming landscape - unless either a mobile infinite runner or... Some other type of game which doesn't fit Crash at all
Will it sell without the nostalgia aspect that propelled the remasters to high sales numbers? I'm gonna say no.
