I wonder if since this is the "origin" they try to tie a bunch of the games together with some meta lore like FF4 The After Years did
Dissidia already did that with the Lufenians and Shinryu.

Is it going to have a bit more of the production values we associate with FF? Nioh has its own style, but graphically it isn't up there with SE's top tier stuff. Can we expect good graphics?
I also hope it's not all dark and drab, a lighthearted souls inspired game with cute aesthetics would be kinda new.
Hopefully by making a sequel to this.Maybe someday Square will have a crazy, revolutionary idea to make a new turn based Final Fantasy game.
:oI agree with you it would've been more distinct that way, but it is dark. The darkest and most violent FF ever got.
literally the best selling RPG in the 2020s is turn-basedI want FF ARPG so bad, fuck
Turn-based combat should stay in the 90s where it belongs, never mind the absurd idea of dedicating a high budget to something so dated. If it remains even in the niche segments, it's more than it deserves.
that's my hot take

Never paid attention to that game's story. It's canon? Thought it was like Smash but with FF lol
Bravely 2 is overated! The last time I see on metacriric is 79 score. I can't believe and watch some youtube gameplay and not feel great at allIt's moved to the Bravely series. Hasn't this been the case since Bravely Default?

Man, I cannot wait to see this.I agree with you it would've been more distinct that way, but it is dark. The darkest and most violent FF ever got.
Going back to very first final Fantasy would be a surprise. How many have even played that game
The Nioh DNA is there, but please don't expect Nioh 3 or just Nioh with FF skin. It's mostly its own beast with very different systems and pace.
There're multiple difficulties.
Cyberpunk 2077 is turn based?

Approach XIV with a critical eye. Heck, approach Heavensward with that eye, given it's after that that the team split. Heavensward has three female characters of note, in a cast of a dozen: Ysale, aka Lady Iceheart who:If I take a look at XIV I have absolutly no concern regarding woman in XVI tbh. Which should be the point of comparison as its the same division.

I'd love another tactics (Not Advanced and that filth) story.
Ok, Day one!!

LMAOOOO for real, I'll make my entire diet milk. Idc
I'm drawing a blank. What game are you talking about?
I'm in no matter what, Nioh DNA being there is a bonus though. Can't wait to learn more. The Nioh DNA is there, but please don't expect Nioh 3 or just Nioh with FF skin. It's mostly its own beast with very different systems and pace.

I would temper my expectations in this regard.
