The laughing in the background as he says this perfectly lends to the moment. They play it off very well, it's pretty delightful.
Also, Nuts and Bolts is not forgotten.

nah the laughing was actually mocking xbox and was totally uncalled forNot weird at all, people were doing this thing called "having fun" and so did the employees
Hard to say that on a night where Deadly Premonition got a sequel.Hard to say that on a night where DMC2 got a standalone Switch release.

Not that strange considering the last couple years. Microsoft has had no issues showing a Switch in their E3 presser talking about Minecraft for example, and this was 2 years ago.
Yup, it was actually a nice moment to watch. Not weird at all, people were doing this thing called "having fun" and so did the employees
Oh, it's not surprising looking at the current situation, it's just...odd?
Maybe it's just the laughter but it did feel pretty funny in the moment!
It's not that weird. They had to license Banjo from Microsoft, so...
people in japan= huh whats an xbox?
I think it's more a laugh about the dire state of Xbox in Japan. Like legitimately many, if not most, Japanese consumers have no idea what Xbox even is.It's a laugh at the expense of all the people who had somehow convinced themselves that Banjo in smash had to mean a whole slew of Microsoft first party games had to be coming to switch, which... Yeah, was always a bit nutty.
You and me both, the moment after Banjo was done and the but wait/there's moment, I thought it was happening but was Terry instead...I was hoping they announced ports of the HD BK games but maybe in the future
