Goddammit.
This show really suffered from being on Peacock; it managed to take something that absolutely should not have worked and made it a really good time. But it's hard enough to sell people on a SBTB reboot/successor--getting them to try it on Peacock was just a bridge too far.

I could've sworn I heard about this show premiering soon, not that long ago, and now you're telling me it's been on for two seasons and is being cancelled? I thought I was done with the whole pandemic time warp thing but here I am wondering where all the time went.

true, I mean maybe there's a chance of another streaming service picking it up if there's a big enough online campaign by fans...but idk if it's popular enough because it was on Peacock in the first place -- which literally no one watches lol.

I'm actually really surprised that they're cancelling this. I mean, it's gotta be their original series with the most mindshare, right? Like this is the show you point to when you think of their original programming.

The second season was meh compared to the first but not cancel-worthy... We have really departed the golden era of streaming tv, huh. Everybody is throwing in with their cancel hammers.
Damn. Show was legit good and that's from someone who thought it didn't look like anything special before I watched it.
They just greenlight a new Days of Our Lives 5 part special exclusive to the service in which two characters who said they were NEVER coming back and trashed the show on social media are....coming back. Multiple huge money trucks must have went out to them. That is where the Saved By The Bell S3 money went.
How is Hulu and Peacock connected at this point? I thought NBC pulled most of their shows from Hulu

I think they're referring to the fact that they still have a stake in Hulu even with the shows dropping, and thus will get money from Hulu still.
