Although 'Severance' was initially renewed for a second season in April 2022, production on the popular Apple TV+ series, starring Adam Scott and produced/directed by Ben Stiller, was delayed due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

This one had rather unique circumstances due to creative in fighting with the writing team + the strikes that delayed everything by a good 8 months. The show probably could have had a S2 ready by end of 2023 if not for that.
