Happy to hear. S1 was some of the best television I've ever seen. I'm pretty nervous that S2 falls short of the first, but glad to see it's this year at least.

That was... Fast?

Feel like we just got an article about them starting filming.

Nice that it's finally done. Expecting an end of year release date.

Mesoian that article was about filming starting back up.

It actually started filming in October of 2022 but was halted because of the strike last year.

I'm worried about this because S1 was amazing but I feel like it's one of those stories that will get worse after the great premise/beginning, hopefully I'm wrong.

Beyond hyped for that - they have such an immense weight on their shoulders after S1

Hell yeah! Season 1 was one of the few time where a TV drama had me invested to the point that I binged it in one day. Very stoked to read that S2 in on the horizon.

Due to the big gap between seasons they could write it like they had to furlough everyone for a bit, then they come back to the office years later and it's like "fuck, we're years older". Abject horror right there

Finally, I just recently watched Season 1 so the wait hasn't been as bad for me but that cliffhanger was crazy and I need to see what happens next.

Finally. I feel like tv shows take an eternity to film a season now. For decades we got yearly seasons now it can be 2 and 3 year waits. It really hampers shows that reply on story heavy shows.

This one had rather unique circumstances due to creative in fighting with the writing team + the strikes that delayed everything by a good 8 months. The show probably could have had a S2 ready by end of 2023 if not for that.

Weren't there talks of a lot of production issues and creative differences even before the strike delays? I'm excited for this but going to keep my expectations medium.

I don't know if I've ever been more excited and nervous for the return of a show before. Season 1 might be one of my favorite seasons of any show ever.

I'm so excited. Season 1 was lightning in a bottle and I hope the writing team was able to create something outstanding after all the back and forth on where the story should go.

The most menacing disco scene ever. Hopefully I'm organised enough to rewatch season 1 before 2 drops.

Awesome but I'm going to have to do a rewatch of season 1 because I can't remember half of it.

I love season 1 but am a little worried about getting satisfying answers to the mystery box they've created.

I'm excited but nervous, the first one was such an achievement can they really follow up? Hope they blow us away again.

Most hype I've been for a new season since GoT s3 or every Breaking Bad season
