Good to see they acted about people complains about online matchmaking in a quick manner, but sucks for the characters adjusted so soon after launch.
Also, I'm surprised that by 2018, a game so complex as Smash Bros. gets little detailed patch notes, but we are talking Nintendo here. Guess the community will have to (once again) list all that was changed.

Yay they addressed online play! It's not ideal, but I didn't expect them to turn around a new matchmaking system in a week, and for now what they changed is fine.

In Smash 4 they didn't even tell us what characters were changed IIRC.
I don't like the ambiguity of "balance changes", but if anyone can figure out what changes occurred with the Link characters, please let me know as they are go-to fighters for me.
That's gonna irk some people. I read a lot on reddit how people liked how challenging the fights were compared to previous titles. Not anymore I guess.
Mildly bummed. I enjoyed the 5 attempts it took me to unlock Falco.
I don't play online or competitively at all, but it still stings to see them nerf Toon Link. That's my boy. Don't touch him.
I assume the partner character and characters with items are having their known "issues" worked out (desync hitlag and combo z-drops), but that leaves Luigi, DK, Duck Hunt, Kirby, and the AC characters as complete unknowns.

Nintendo didn't make Smash Bros so idk why you would expect them to have a full detail of patch notes
What the hell did they do to YL? Patch notes should actually contain the changes made. This is bad.

They did the same thing with 4 and it was infuriating. Splatoon has had amazing patch notes, I don't know why the Smash team refuses to explain changes
Lol at them nerfing the character unlock battles. Not that that's a bad thing since they do get hard. Wonder what they did to Greninja.

You can still convert them to video if you didn't patch, to be fair there was a warning anout this.
I already unlocked everyone via challenger approaching, but nice for people who were having trouble. I actually enjoyed the challenge, tough it could be frustrating at times.
