There was definitely a spark between her and Matt. So obvious whenever they were together.
She had no control over that. It's not like she pushed the cancel Project Hammer, M -Rated action RPG, and Mother 4 button herself.
thisYou can accurately tell how crazy young ERA's median poster is, just from looking at how everyone reacted to Nintendo's 2018 E3 conference.
No one who was around for the E3 2008 conference would even fathom comparing the two shows.
I mean that part kind of relies on her presenting as female, no? So it seems by your own account it was partly about her gender.
Somewhere in this 20 minute video, I believe she specifies people didn't like her presentation because she was a woman, might be the wrong video but I couldn't find the quote, just know that I saw it. Cracked me up, couldn't be because you were a cheesy lame soccer mom representing a horrible lineup.
2008 was bad and she's not a natural presenter but her being a woman definitely pushed a lot of the usual suspects over the edge.
Easily the absolute worst press conference from any of the three big console manufacturers in history of the event.
*Google's* I see
I think it's up there but still a giant enemy crab and RIIIIDGE RACER does not beat Nintendo execs live on stage pantomiming with their Wiimotes as if they were playing the Mario theme on Wii Music with the help of some drummer and his imaginary, um, drums.Worst Nintendo presser, yeah, but nothing has ever or likely will ever top Sony 2006.
To accurately portray life as an adult in the U.S.A they would need to arm the kids with 9mm handguns (or the bb gun equivalent I guess?) so I can see why they would want to avoid that. There's Kidzania in Asia but not the US? That's kind of funny considering it's a Mexican company, lol.
No doubt one of the big reasons why they pre record them now.
She was really REALLY miscast in the role she had at Nintendo.
Some people are saying 'it's not her fault Nintendo had software draughts', but there's a reason she left her role in such a relatively short space of time.
Her knowledge and understanding of the industry was practically zero.
Yes, continue thinking she was the boogeywoman and it wasn't because of the harassment and utter vile commentary she received from mouthbreathing neckbeards angry over a disappointing E3.
Damn, no wonder she moved on to dealing with kids, much more maturity there than message board gamers have. I

If you consider cities like Tokyo, Bangkok, Seoul, Dubai, Istanbul, Busan, Doha and Abu Dhabi as located in developing nations, sure, your numbers hold up.It's even weirder when you look at the location list, and see that it's 90% in Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. So it's a bunch of developing world children play-acting work for American megacorps.
You could really see it in that e3 interview they did on the floor one year. There was definitely a spark between her and Matt. So obvious whenever they were together.
Why does Edtropolis mean these things? Why have you done this to me?
These are high grade jawbreakers, my man. Sharp lift off with a soft, crunchy landing...
Oh man, I love me some Red Robin. Gonna have to stop and pour one out for Cammie.Cammie is also on the Boards of Directors of Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc.: http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix.zhtml?c=131715&p=irol-governance

I never had a beef with her personally - I agree her presentational style didn't fit Nintendo at all, but also a good 80% (probably more) of the flak directed at her has entirely to do with her being a woman. I thought she was cute in that "mom calls every video game a Nintendo" sort of way. My favorite is when she stumbled over King Hippo's name and landed on Big Eddie.
Hey kid, wanna buy some pixie stix?
Yeah. It's an attraction like a SeaWorld or Legoland or something, I guess. What is the deal with KidZania? Is it somewhere you take your kids for a day/afteroon?
Sexism abosolutely played a part in how the press conference was received.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry! Which, strangely, is exactly how I felt about Nintendo's 2008 E3.I'm sorry, but I feel like we're burying the lede that there is a chain of tiny child-sized cities around the world where children do wage labor in service of Brands??
