Both TDK and especially TDKR have aged badly for me. They feel more concerned about being a 00s Hollywood action movie than telling a Batman story. Not enough atmosphere and mood.

Removing the movies I haven't seen yet, my list wouldn't be TOO different. Makes me even more interested in The Batman, can't wait for it to come to digital.

That said, it's weird they included the one animated movie and all the live action Justice League stuff but ignore ALL the other animated Batman movies. Some of them are pretty good!

This is so wrong.

That said, the disrespect for TDKR is crazy to me. Don't get me wrong, there are a couple goofy plot devices and acting... but overall, movie has ridiculously high production values, killer set pieces, massive scope, and a bumping soundtrack with a villain that somehow holds its own against the previous movie's generational performance Joker.

I have problems with rises but it's way too low
