sonic adventure is the pinnacle of human achievement
I would actually play a full timer based, arcade style game with E-102's mechanics if it existed.Sonic adventure is a diamond in the rough that did a lot of rad shit sonic team never tried again and it's quality is a lot more complicated than "it was good but now it's bad"
Sonic adventure 2 was hot garbage the day it came out and still sux
don't you slam your DAMN hands on my good tables[slams both fists on table]

You could team up with one of us. I have a concept for a lucas-arts style adventure game as a retelling of the Iron Queen arc, starring Monkey Kahn, Sonic, and Sally.
It's been on sale on PC a few times these past weeks.
You should be able to get it from Russia or Mexico eShop for cheap. So is Sonic Mania on sale on the eShop? Not that $20+tax is a big deal, but still, I'm curious.
I'm in two minds about it. On one hand, more quality content is always great and should be strived for either way, but on the other hub worlds are the best way to ground a setting and form a more cohesive setting. I think Mario 64 is an astronomically stronger game because of Peach's Castle than it would've been if it'd had a Mario World style level map (I also hate those from the depths of my soul but I digress), even though there isn't technically much to explicitly do in the castle itself. Adventure Fields could have been better but I like what we got more a lot more than nothing at all.hub worlds are fine as long as they give you a compelling thing to do and not just to pad the time between levels with tedium
