I never thought I'd see a Stan Kelly-inspired Splatoon comic

Unsurprisingly, Squids won 2-1.

Surprisingly closer than I expected though;

52.94% team

Oh well. All this really shows is that the squids are more violent. The octos are clearly more loved!

It's true actually, a majority of the Splatfests have Pearl in favor of popularity.

Yeah I've seen those results and that's by virtue of the category.


If there was a Marina vs Pearl splatfest Japan will side with her just like they showed affinity to squids this weekend.

I would say the popular team is 95% likely to use intraregionals as well as long as the point spread is greater than 48/52

Nah, the actual stats don't back that up. The popular team is 4-2 in both NA/Oceania and Europe intraregionals (for a combined 8-4). NA has seen several 55% plus teams win, including a 67% team love, and Europe's even had teams push above 70% and win - twice.
