It's still as fun as ever.
I think I had stopped due to burning myself out on the endgame (the grind to level 100 and mopping up the last of the achievements). But I want to go back and get the last two diorama figures (50 kills with the U-Wing, and 100 Cloud Car kills...kill me).
Jesus, literally almost just lost a 1 on 1 against a regular stormtrooper as Luke Skywalker because all he had to do was spam roll like a fucking spaz, and my force abilities would push him away from me and by the time I got to him he was rolling again.

BF2 just isn't clicking with me, I really miss the polish and simplicity of the first. I just want to run around Endor as Boba Fett in Supremacy without all the other bullshit.

And it's a teamwork-heavy mode. I heavily suggest you party up with friends before jumping in. Playing with randoms can be infuriating.
I went back to 2015 the other day on xbone (had played on PS4 originally) to see the difference as a fresh account and I was suprised how quickly I got a game. Also suprised how much "better" I was at that game too, and its not like I put more than 30 hours into it either, I'm tempted to dip back in while I wait and see what happens.

Halo is still my favorite pvp shooter on consoles. Especially if you like the equal footing fair play kind of game.
Feels like every kill and death is fair. Unlike in Destiny where it's all frustrating.
Fair starts and power weapon control feels like a thing of the past unfortunately.
And no word from Dice or EA.

i took down a wookie single-handedly in close combat because of rolling earlier today as the officer class lol it was pretty epic.
if you don't know how to utilize great roll timing in this game then you will not survive
Yeah even in non-hero situations the rolling can get kind of ridiculous. It could probably use a nerf. A little slower with less ground covered, and no invincibility frames vs. force powers.
I now prefer the feel of 2017 I think. Though for whatever reason I was and am (when I got on last week) "better" at 2015 too for whatever reason. Likewise only ever put around 30 hours into the online. Part of it was the shorter ttk I think.
So frustrating when your team hoards points for heroes while the other team is using everything available.
People on achievement sites were making a huge deal about that one achievement for killing 25 hero ships with the basic assault ship, saying it would take hours upon hours to get. I got it relatively fast and easy. if anyone is struggling trying to get that, the best tip ive seen is to look at the scoreboard and anyone playing as a hero ship will have a special icon next to their name. Sometimes its hard to tell the difference between say a normal player and poes x wing. That helped a lot.

Also if you guys haven't already, dip into Strike when you get a little burnt out on GA. It's really fun, can be just as tense if not more so than GA.

Yeah dodging is insane when fighting lightsaber heroes at least inside buildings for me. I've evaded darth vader as an specialist just by taking corners quickly and dodging at the right times to roll right by him and back around corners until he gave up and left.
I get it a lot especially in GA. Usually right as I'm targeting a guy.... leading to my immediate doom. -_______-
God this game is incredible, getting more into GA and the battles are so intense and real feeling like you're truly in the movies. Fighting on Hoth and fighting in the ATATs is just incredible, it's nuts how good this game really is. Aside from some of its side drama, it's so good at what it does

Yeah my playtime has been 98% GA, that's where I see it.
Going to enjoy jumping in on this once it hits EA Access and they've had time to iron out the server / progression / micro transactions issues. But until then, thanks for beta testing it further guys.

I'm loving this game when I can actually play. The loading screens are rediculous. I'm still getting put in games that never fill up too. :(

Heroes need one slight bump in survivability, just a notch. Like maybe an extra 1/8th or 1/4 or their current health and add a bit more. Otherwise man it's so fun

What's nuts is I haven't even hardly noticed and I have like most heroes unlocked, didn't even really take note til now really getting into some GA.
It's great when players use heroes like Luke, Yoda, and Maul for their agility, to flank, and destroy enemies, then peel away to regain health and avoid further damage.
Still not much they can do when they have to entire a room full of blasters looking at them.

That's how I just played kylo, it was so fun. Had a 50 kill GA, just fun as hell
The Russian DLC for Battlefield 1 came out in August and its assymetrical modes have been absurdly broken in favor of defense and they still haven't fixed it yet. I don't even mind not winning, it's just that it's not fun on either side.
DICE's bread and butter has been and will always be Conquest so it's fucking maddening that it hasn't been in either Battlefront game from them. My favorite mode in 2015 was blast just because it was the most balanced with the least amount of fuckery.
Yep, how you should you play. Ofc know when to go batshit if you feel you won't survive but play slow... play smart and you can hang for ages with your hero. My last game of the evening I actually got a compliment

I'm growing more comfortable with playing as lightsaber heroes as I was when the game launched. The pressure is severe when I play as one. Love playing as Boba because it's smart to stay distant from the opposite team and use your radar detection so the rest of your team can pressure them.
I really like Yoda because I play officer and his team buff ability make me feel as if I'm still playing as a support trooper.
I just got Luke's health regen star card so I'm wondering how that'll play out in a match.

Btw I have unlocked every hero and now I'm saving up for when Finn and Phasma come out in December.

Just spent a couple matches in GA, no lag.
Played as Han on Starkiller base in GA, and really enjoyed how all the heroes talk to each other. It's the smaller details that make this game great. Not the gun play, or the mechanics, but how they managed to build a star wars world in a fast paced shooter.

It is playable online yeah, you might see some rubberbanding, I do and others here have. For the most part with my own experience it's quite random/rare. Today was the worst day for it for a few games but then it settled, didn't see it much prior. I play on WiFi, could be I just need to reset my shit as it was great before today. It's just a slight hitching as you run.
It's a bit grindy to upgrade as you need to buy a lot of Hero crates with credits for crafting parts and the payout post match is small. We're waiting for news on progression changes.
Heroes are pretty quick to unlock after hitting campaign, playing some mp and completing challenges. You should be able to buy some of your faves quickly enough.
Boba Fett, when played right, completely dominates on Mos Eisley. Folks with jet packs in general. If you own the rooftops on that map, you own the match.
