The writing was pretty on point for the iconic characters from the OT.
No sexy shelob here sir.

it's funny because infantry weapons actually do insane damage to starfighters and the second specialist sniper with the bolt speed upgrade is hitscan and easily destroy any starfighters. A single specialist with it can keep the skies clean.I'm getting so annoyed by Galactic Assault atm. The ships are so OP and the amount of points you can earn with them is absolutely crazy, there is no reason to play infantry above ships in this game mode, really needs a fix.
Idk I feel like I had more fun with bf1? Maybe I just need a 24 man play list that is not strikes.
Also is it just me but on some maps do they intentionally spawn you facing the opposite direction of your objective hahaha. Me and whomever ends up in my squad will spawn, run forward and realize we had to turn around the moment we spawned to actually head in the right direction.
I know assists can count as eliminations, but I also regularly get assists (pops up on my screen +100 or whatever number) that DON'T count as eliminations. What's the deal with those? Why are things like this needlessly convoluted lol..

Also the heavies ion torpedo + explosive sentry works great as anti air.
Holy shit. Is sniping an issue in this game? If so, I may avoid buying it. There is nothing worse than maps infested with fucking snipers.

my issue with sniping is that it is not one shot kill like the first 2015 battlefront. i want a pulse rifle where i load it and charge and one shot kill. hopefully they add it in the future. ive gotten some nice headshots with this rifle in this game though.Probably just situational. It has not been an issue for me at all.
I am waiting for the 4k to come in this week before I do the campaign which I heard was amazing!

My current mindset is that I would rather get more Star Wars than not have it exist. I want a game to play during the Episode 8 movie release. I am a fan of the CGI shows personally so I imagine this little bit of story will be worth the few hours. I am not expecting Episode 8 or rogue one levels of story personally.
my favorite class is the Heavy class, I love the power and range of that R1 L1 heavy machine gun attack. It feels so functional and satisfying, especially in choke points and narrow corridors when with teammates. giving suppressing fire with it feels great, getting into the battles myself though as a fan haha.Man, I royally suck at being a Specialist. The Assault class offers the best balance for me, but I am keen on giving Officer and Heavy a fair shake as well.
i think it has to do with the fact that the sniper scopes are closer ranged and dont go too far, im still on the first one so perhaps that will change later on. like on kashyyykon thge beach ,, i barely saw close things in scope. like the first games sniper does a lot better with the scopes.Nah, a lot off maps aren't even sniper friendly, despite their size.
For me it isn't an issue whatsoever. Battlefield 1 was way worse in that regard.

Heavy has Ion torpedo
Buy all of your heroes before opening crates imo.Just finished the campaign!
I feel like it started really strong but ended up unfulfilling.
Once you get on the rebel side, Naboo is great and a nice throwback to that comic, and Takodana is alright but man does Iden and her story get boring. The final mission and cutscene on Jakku had me completely unfazed - I saw the love story with Del coming but it just doesn't work. Really strange of them to hint that hard at the possibility they'd be Rey's parents as I think we can all agree there's no way they are.
Ultimately, I think I would have liked it better it she stays imperial all the way through the First Order era. That's kind of how they marketed the plot too lol
I have a little more than 20 000 credits and I'm not sure of what to do with them... Do you think it's better to spend it on heroes or crates (I read that heroes crates were better value, is that right)?
Not by default though. You have to craft/unlock the star card for it.
Good to know thanks.
Yeah, immediately crafted it after getting destroyed on Naboo by every vehicle allowed. Not by default though. You have to craft/unlock the star card for it.
Flametroopers whilst fun and amazing looking, might as well be spraying water lol holy shit no dmg
thank god that such garbage is gone.my issue with sniping is that it is not one shot kill like the first 2015 battlefront. i want a pulse rifle where i load it and charge and one shot kill. hopefully they add it in the future. ive gotten some nice headshots with this rifle in this game though.
I was trying to kill an officer and he killed me despite me spraying him forever. Maybe it was lag then.Huh? I routinely get good kills with them. The flamethrower melts health off.
People are complaining because:I am loving the game! I am dead serious too. The gameplay is fun and I have just about gotten enough crafting parts to get lvl 2 and lvl 3 grenade and like a few more cards i want. i got the Rey skin via pre ordering, I got Luke last night by spending 15k in game credits, and by today ive gotten 5k more credits. im pretty set. NOTHING feels limited. I cannot complain at all, I am waiting for the 4k to come in this week before I do the campaign which I heard was amazing! There are free maps and story DLC coming in December, Dqar and Crait planets / maps.
I guarantee you that Geonosis and Utepau will be in the game! by spring.
I love the game and how it was 47 bucks at bestbuy. Why are people really complaining? (I guess I do want more modes though, which should be remedied via DLC,, that is a complaint i guess). game looks and sounds beautiful
People are complaining because:
A. The game had predatory and p2progress loot boxes that were only removed once EA and disney saw the community backlash.
B: The game made most heroes cost over 50,000 credits, making it take hundreds of hours to unlock most heroes. EA only changed this due to community backlash.
C. The campaign is lazy and was most likely changed midway through development. It was advertised as a campaign where you see through the eyes of a stormtrooper - but it really is only that for the first 3 missions out of 12. The story is also mostly nonsensical, and it seems more like blatant fan service. It also is only 4 hours long too.
D. EA stated that loot boxes will come out again in a way to affect progression - which can lead to more people buying loot boxes, becoming more powerful because they paid to progress.

I think their point was that despite all the complaining, in practice, the game is actually really fun to play. I tend to agree
Citation needed. Given the amount of time they had to make it it's absolutely not lazy.

Sorry, it's not really lazy per se, just disappointing considering what they advertised and what we received. This reddit post should help to explain all my points - my citation, if you will.https://www.reddit.com/r/StarWarsBa..._far_the_single_most/?st=JA6ZQOOX&sh=645d4694Citation needed. Also citation needed besides pointless speculationbecause you believed the marketing at face value despite the fact that SW has always been about the perspective of turncoats and rebels. What about the story is nonsensical? It goes in line with the book about Inferno Squad in terms of the team's dynamic and other stories in the series in terms of how blatantly evil the empire is. It's rushed yes but certainly not nonsensical. It's also not really that dedicated to fanservice since they blatantly talked about how it's supposed to help bridge gaps in the timeline. And thus do a pretty good job at putting Inferno into notable conflicts.
